E-Journal Post 01 [Vocals] / Wednesday, May 02, 2012
Hello everyone. This is my blog.
#youdontsay.
Anyway. This is like an electronic diary for one of my modules in my course, called performance practices. And as the name suggests, this is a blog to sort of, monitor how we practice our stuff.
In this blog, i will record how i practice to improve on my drums as well as my vocals. :D
Warning: The way i practice may not be correct so follow at your own risk.
I just HAD to say that, in case some people follow how i practice then they go "BUT NETTO DID THAT! D:"
Okay anyway, this is the first post, i will post the very first performance i had inside school. :D The Solo performance! :D
Song title: Sobakasu. Artist: Judy and Mary.
Okay. FIRST THING I WANT TO IMPROVE ON AFTER I SEE THIS VIDEO. IS TO IMPROVE ON MY STAGE PRESENCE AND CONFIDENCE.
I mean, sheesh... look at me!!! Im so... amateurish. LOL. My friend once told me, if she closes her eyes and hear me sing, she'll think that i am full of confidence. Then when she open her eyes, she's like "OH HELL NO."
When i'm interviewed on stage i tend to get tongue tied as well. :x Personally I DONT LIKE THAT FEELING. LOL.
So to train myself i usually will watch how other people handle interviews. Like other singers who were asked the same questions, how did they react? And as for confidence, i just need to tell myself to immerse in the music. :( Confidence level must be all the way to 3000%!!!!!
And stage presence wise... hahah i practically facepalmed at the part where i went slightly off. LOL I mean, it MAY be unnoticeable if i didn't make it that obvious... you know. That's why i really want to improve myself in terms of these! :D
Yeuup. I think that's all for this post.
In conclusion, i need to work on stage presence, confidence, stage presence, confidence, stage presence, maybe the control over my voice, confidence, stage presence, did i say confidence? Yeah that, and Stage presence. :D
